How to help a friend resource is for young people over the age of 12. Despite the research demonstrating young people are more likely to disclose sexual abuse to a peer, there is very little targeted information or guidance for young people who might receive a disclosure. The resource takes the form of a pocket guide, specifically aimed at providing guidance to young people on what to do if they receive a disclosure of sexual abuse from a peer/friend.
